So far 30 govt/semi govt buildings have been designed as per solar passive technology in the state. Himurja, HP Co-operative bank, MLA Hostel (4 Blocks), Minister House (6 Blocks), Judge's Houses(6 blocks), State Bank of Patiala, Govt. Hospital Rampur are the already constructed buildings. Solar passive designs of rural houses under Gandhi Kuteer Yojna, primary schools and teachers hostels have been provided by the TPMC to the Govt. for implementation. Fifteen solar passive primary schools in Shimla and Spiti districts and two solar passive teacher's hostel at Sagnam & Tabo [Spiti] have been constructed and seven are under construction.
